Vegas Baby Vegas!!!!!

Yes that's right I am going to Vegas again!!!! The ticket prices were a lot higher then last year and I might have spent my Vegas money on a bike, so I was thinking I would not be able to go in Feb. for the Archery shoot. But today we got good news. The tickets went down over $100. So I booked tickets for Rick and I. Jane, Paul and Hannah also booked there tickets. We paid only $10.00 more then last year. With fuel prices the way they are I am thinking we would not be able to get them any cheaper so I took the plunge. I guess I better get shooting! I did have Rick take the safety off my new release the other day. I actually shot it 4 times. By Feb. I should be ready to go!!!

I am thinking there will be no Christmas for the kids this year because I have spent all my money on me!

DUMB DOG

Last night Rick and I went for a bike ride. Well we were going by this house out in the country when out came this dumb dog. It was happy as can be, he just wanted to run with us. We tried to make it go home but it just would not leave. So then we tried to out run it. But even that did not work. I have never seen a dog run so fast for so long. We were going 22 miles an hour and it kept right with us. We finally turned around and tried to take it back to where we first saw it. But then it just followed us again. It followed us for 5 miles till finally we out ran it going down a super big hill. I could not believe that dumb dog. Hope he made it back to who ever it belongs to. Even with the dog we got a super workout in. We biked 19 miles and did a lot of hills. We averaged 15 miles an hour.

So Today since I have not ran for 5 weeks-----YES 5 WEEKS, I decided it was time to give it a try again. After all the doctor said 4 to 6 weeks. Well it did not go good. I could not even run a mile before it started to hurt. I ran maybe 2 miles before it hurt so bad that I had to walk. I had to WALK home. I never walk home. It hurt worse today then when I was running on it every few days. So I guess the 5 weeks of rest did nothing! I am not happy about it. I walked to get my hair cut at noon and did not think I was going to make it because my leg still hurt so bad. I hate that my legs are failing me!

Now I am going to take my car to Walmart to pick up a couple of things for supper. I was going to walk but that is not happening!

I am done being a baby now!

Today I was doing some stuff on my new printer. As you can see I came across some old pictures. The first one is of my sisters and me in the sixties. I am the short one-some things never change. The next picture of from last Dec. in the MOA. And the last picture is of Liam also from last Dec. He is soooo cute. As you can tell I have not had a very busy day. But it is my day off so I guess it is ok to do nothing once-in-awhile. So I better get back to doing nothing! Later Sharon

Yesterday Rick and I went down to Mankato to ride the Red Jacket Trail. It is not very long but it is all up hill. At the end of it we went to the Rabidan Dam. The last time we were there they was not any water in it so this time it was much nicer to see. We biked for a total of 27 miles. It was the most I have biked with my new shoes. So far I have not fallen with them. I should not even write about it because then for sure I will fall down!

Today I am babysitting Liam. I usually will not babysit on my weekend off but I did this time. Now I am not going to babysit on Monday. Liam and I went to Walmart this morning and I got him some sweet new shoes. While we were there he kept rubbing his eyes and yawning. So when we got home a fed him lunch and laid him down for a nap. That was at 11:30. He still is not sleeping. He is just playing and talking. I am sure he will fall a sleep about the time I need to get him up to leave! I am going to Faribo for the Becker 50th anniversary party. Amy is going to meet me there and take Liam.

I don't really know anything else. Just enjoying the wonderful weather.

Last night Rick and I went on a 21 mile bike ride. We went on a road that Jese recommended that Rick and I go on. It was super hilly and we had to really work hard. It was great-thanks Jese for the tip!
